The store was great! Went in today, and they had really good stock and variety in all items. The store was easy to navigate, and I was looking for a new soda flavor, in which it was fairly new, and it was still in stock! I recommend Coming Here for items that may not be in stock at other stores.
I always love King Soopers I've been going there since I was a kid. I always swore that when I grew up and did my own shopping I would continue going there because their produce is always so nice and it's a way better selection and Safeway and their meat is on point. I love the variety and all of their prices especially when they go on sale. Can never disappoint me and the crew is always so helpful thanks King Soopers y'all are the best and always will be in my eyes!
This store printed on my receipt "You have earned a Holiday Savings Bonus that has been loaded to your Loyalty Card on General Merchandise Items". After checkout we noticed that we didn't receive any such discount. Upon inquiring at the customer service desk, we were informed that "Holiday Savings Bonus" meant that the bonus was only for holiday items and literally nothing we purchased was eligible.
The wording of this promotion is obviously intentionally misleading. We returned almost everything, and I will not be back.
Shoppers beware.... This location of king soopers is very low on shopping carts. Has been for at least a month. 3 of the 4 times that I have been here ther
e have been no carts available/open for use inside the store. I have had to retrieve them from outdoors. Today there were none to be retrieved. All carts were actively in use. I had to fill my own shopping bags as a cart and ended up carting around four very heavy shopping bags. What is really sad is to see the number of seniors wandering around in the parking lot, hoping to get a hold of a cart. So sad. Customer service had an explanation but no look of a solution in sight until after the new year. I will be actively seeking either another location or a different store brand.
Sadly I'd like to give more stars since I overall like this store and have been going there many years but the last 2 experiences I've had were bad. The first, an employee putting away carts, one slipped away and slammed into my car door making a little ding. I would probably have been ok with it if the employee apologized or said something but nope. He grabbed cart and walked away . I told a supervisor named Jennifer and she said would have her manager call me and I have never received a call.. poor customer service.Second, I bought some strawberries yesterday and two of them tasted like straight chemicals. Had to throw the rest away. kind of worrisome.
Was was checking out in the self check out of the the store that I frequent quite often loaded, my carts paid for my groceries, started, leaving the self check out (whithout the ¢10 bags they get a portion of profits from) when a woman whom I assume is the store manager coming in my direction with a cart that had a box. I Move over and I pass her as I am exiting the store. I then hear someone speaking to me in my direction I turn around and the same woman asks me for my receipt. I then proceeded to ask her “why do I looked suspicious or something” and she says no (which is Bs based on her response), “you just walked directly through the line”. Um, no, I was walking directly through the line from the back of the self check out after paying for my groceries which your self check out person should have seen as I was there for a hot minute. So instead of asking that self check out employee if I had paid for my groceries, you decide to embarrass me and ask me for my receipt as if I stole something you should also have loss prevention that could have alerted someone had I indeed just walked through the line and not paid for my groceries which, in fact I did. I then proceeded to hand this woman, my lengthy receipt for her to double check it, and ensure that I did indeed pay for my groceries for my mothers memorial service tomorrow. My question is why do you have a self check out employee watching people check their stuff if you’re not going to ask them if someone you think is stealing did indeed pay for their groceries instead of embarrassing them and asking them in front of other patrons. this store is lucky that there’s very few King Soopers in the vicinity of my home to even go to because I would be switching stores so fast after this experience. Do better. If theft is a problem, get rid of self checkout. Get better LP, get better self checkout employees. Lobby your government for better policies.
First off, I wnat to say that the people that work in this store are great!. The quality of the bakery tiems is good and there produce is very nice. However, the digital coupons often fail to work at checkout. But today was the last straw. I had received a special offer on a past Kingsoopers receipt that read "holiday savings bonus - 20% of general merchandise." So I bought a ton of stuff I did not need, to stock up with this wonderful 20% off, what sounded to me like EVERYTHING. That turned out to be wrong. "General merchandise" is a term that, not being a person that works in a grocery store, I apparently had no greasp of. "Gerneral merchandise" means virtually nothing at all. I was told it applies Christmas items (not foods - just items) only, which is also not "general". I guess this means wrapping paper and Christmas cards and stuff like that. So I made the poor man at the service desk take off all but three of the items I bought, because that's all that I had really needed. This is a shamful bait and switch. How many customers never noticed this and got screwed over by this obviously purposeful trick? I assume that is the point of writing such a thing so poorly - to get people to over buy and either fail to notice they were cheated, or be too embarrassed to ask. Whoever's brain child this scam was needs to be fired,
We hired the floral department for our wedding and they were amazing. I was so happy with the arrangements and feel like we ended up with more than we were expecting. Definitely a great purchase that was well worth the money and they were very helpful.
